I don’t care for sports, though I don’t like anything Boston-related as a rule.¹ I’m also generally delighted to see all-but-anointed protagonists fail to achieve destiny.

Gruber puts it best (and by best, I mean most meanly):

I know I’m rotten inside—I revel not in a team’s victory, but in the despair of the defeated.
